After an accident, injured persons may have to be rescued through the vehicle window, e.g. due to a jammed door. Modern protective glazing shatters into thousands of small glass fragments to protect against cuts. During the rescue, it is necessary to shatter the window from the outside - the explosively shattering glass can cause injuries.

CMC's shatter protection film is applied to the window, roughly cut out in the shape of the window and smoothed out. After that, the pane can be smashed with a spring punch. The glass splinters are held in place by the adhesive film. The shattered pane can now be removed from the window frame "in one piece" and the injured person rescued.

One side adhersive, tearproof polyethylene tape, which can be used as a shatterproof tape when rescuing people.
